One of my standby projects is a Sue Spargo table runner from her Crimson Tweed book. I just love this small wool project. But I have learned by taking some of Sue's classes, that the hard part is knowing when to stop the embellishment/embroidery, apparently , you can never have too much.
So I am focusing on one element at a time. I'm feeling like I might be done with the center...
no alot of super fancy stiches here, but every edge is stitched up, and a little extra in the centers.
whaddya think? need a little more? I see some open space on the Kaffe fabric, but I'm not sure it would show up all that well if I added some threading there.
I guess I'll move on to a leaf and let the center stew for a while...
Hugs and Stitches!

GORGEOUS! And so different from mine. What an inspiration.
I think I counted 1 million french knots. I guess I better find a job with all the time I have on my hands.
