It's over, I'm moving on...but before I do, one more word on the previous subject, I think both of the LAQ's I dealt with are hugely talented. I think we all know that this is a creative process that is physically demanding, and probably emotionally draining at times. I think we are not programmed, as women, to say no, to say "when". Perhaps that the moral of the story, on both sides of this tale, we all need feel comfortable saying " no" when a job can't be done, and "no" when we feel like the arrangment is not working. And support each other in our learning along the way.

I've been finishing up my clam-work this week and am nearly done with the little sewing roll...
now I need to find a magnetic closure that will keep it fastened closed....I bet that interweb would help me find something.
The clams seem to be haunting me, cause the only picture of a quilt that I took down at the Oaks show was this:
look at this treatment of each of the clams!
amazing!!
wait til you see what Sister Mary Starbucks talked me into down at the Christmas Shoppe at Oaks....next time!
Hugs and Stitches!

The use of the stripe fabric in this clam shell style quilt is brilliant. I can see why you took a picture.
