remember that? when you were a kid playing a game and you called "DO OVER!!!!"?
this time of year reminds me of a Do Over....it's the start of the new school year and it feels like a chance to start over, to revisit those forgotten New Year's resolutions, those bad habits that need breaking, etc.
it's been a hard summer, a summer of missing...missing Twin#1 while he was gone for most of 7 weeks of CIT'ing, missing DH while he was gone 14hrs on the night shift for nearly a month, missing fun, missing quilting....missing my lost mind!
But we finally got to take a little trip to the Cape where we got some rest, some fishing, some reading and a little bit of handwork done.
So now I am ready for the Do Over....to try to get back on a regular schedule, back to quilting, back to blogging, back to a little bit of normalcy(which is a stretch in my house!).
Perhaps the only thing I've been good about is keeping up with my Pennies BOM. And YAHOO!! , the inside is done....waiting for the borders to come in Sept.
I'm LOV-ING how this is coming out. This is one heavy quilt!! and I'm sure the quilting will add even more weight.
So now onto some new projects, finishing old ones and perhaps even cooking a meal for my family!!
Hugs and Stitches...and thanks for sticking with me!
