Well, I'm a little addicted to Sue Daley projects, so of course I had to start a new one. Fortunately, I have about a dozen different of her patterns laying around. So let's try a new one!
I picked the little clamshell case, it's a small project, only 77 clams.
but here's my problem, there must be a secret that I haven't heard about how to keep your clams lined up and straight and not leaning to one side or the other. My clams are downright unruly!
I draw a straight line after each row, but there is nothing to pin to, so they have a tendency to shift and lean, so fear trimming this down to size for assembly will be quite a challenge.
But I'm forging ahead, I only have 4 or 5 more rows to go. And then that's it, no more clams for me.
I'm sticking to chowder....or chow-dah if you are in the Boston area.
Hugs and Stitches!
