If you remember that The Big Fig Newton commercial (a fav in our house!) from way back when, then you will know the ceremonial dance I did this morning when I was able to put this up on the wall:
I am proud to report (I think) that the only fabric purchase for this was the reds. Stash busting for the rest!
I'm thinking of handquilting this one, the blocks are all hand pieced or hand appliqued so it only seems right, right?
I'm just pleased as punch to be able to have one top finished this year. Maybe there's hope to have the hand quilting done this year too!
mmm, what to work on next...
