now that the Christmas haze has started to lift and the mess is cleaned up and we are looking forward to the new year, I sat down to put pen paper to list the projects that need to get done or have forward progress in the next 3 months.
It was not an Oprah Aahh moment, it was more of an Oh Crap Moment. Did you ever have one of those? How is it that I am starting the year behind already?
Speaking of behind.....I took sometime this week and prepped my November and December Pennies from Heaven BOM blocks.
And before I could get these appliqued and embroidered, I got a text from Sister Mary Vera telling me that she received her January block already. I guess the ladies at Kindred Quilts are starting the year much more organized than me!
Maybe some of these self-imposed deadline have to go and only the real ones like baby showers, wedding showers, brithday presents, etc. stay on the list....
Maybe I need to spend less time cooking and cleaning, what do you think?

Really, Megan, there's no question here. Housework doesn't last, and no good memories come from it. Do what's necessary, and then get to the important stuff. I absolutely love your blog and am constantly envious of your handwork talents.
