I admit it, I sometimes struggle with needles. With applique, I found one brand and length that I love and bought up oodles of the them so that I will never run out. I think that is one of the reasons why I don't stress over applique, because I'm really comfortable with my needle.
Handquilting? not such much. I'm the Goldilocks of handquilting needles....it's too short, it's too long, the eye is too small....( want some cheese with that whine?) Well, I think those days might be over!!!
I just finished hand quilting my little RoadTrip Tablerunner and found a needle that was really smooth going thru the layers, long enough to grab, the eye is easy to thread....it might be love.
I bought these out at the Lancaster Show cause one of the partners in crime told me I should....note to Sister Mary Vera: THANKS!!!!!
Here's the tablerunner in use
Think I'll do a larger project with these needles before I run out and buy oodles, but, my quilting heart is definitely aflutter over these needles!
Hugs and Stitches!
Megan

I see that the needles are by Clover so should not be hard for me to find some. I have never seen this type before but want to give them a try.

I totally understand. I use John James 10 large eye - I have a number of packages of them...just in case!

I really like the Clover black gold needles. I guess these are the same? I have the pattern for that table runner. Now you've inspired me! :-)

I have these (really like them) in the applique ones. I'll have to try the quilting ones. Thanks for the heads up.
