It's so nice to have a friend/machine quilter who totally speaks my language!
She sent me a note to say my quilt was done. This is how the phone conversation went right after that note:
Me: Hi....I'm such a 2 year old.
Her: You're coming to pick up your quilt today?
Me: Right after work.
See, she gets me! But more importantly, when we talk about what I want done on my quilt, I know she gets me. I say I want something feathery to fill the open spaces and she sees the same picture I had in my mind. I am so lucky to know someone on the same wavelength....although, I'm a little scared for her!
So here's a quarter of the quilt....bound and everything, (ok no label yet, but that will come)
here's what the whole quilt looked like up on my wall.....
but here's what the quilting looks like up close and personal:
Thanks Jeanne----Awesome job!!
Hugs and Stitches!
Megan

I love your blue star quilt, the border applique is gorgeous! I also think your friend Jeanne should have her own blog for long arm quilting requests... her quilting is superb and makes me even more aware of how much I like your quilt top pattern!
Could you please email me a way to reach Jeanne if she takes quilting work from strangers as well as friends?? I'd love to know her pricing and if she's available!!?? I'm located in PA.

you are so lucky to have a friend who does your quilting. Both her work and yours are FANTASTIC!!! I love the combination of feathers in the inside part of the border and straight lines in the outside part. Beautiful!!

Your quilt. . . & the quilting are beautiful!
I know what you mean. . . finding a quilter who 'gets' you is precious & they are worth their weight in gold!. . . I don't know what I'd do without my Nubin! (She's my quilter/friend)!
