Just because I'm working on UFO's doesn't mean I'm going to necessarily work on one at a time....I am WAY to scattered for that!
So in the woods this weekend, under the evergreens, I worked on a little Christmas UFO. I pieced the top for a class last year and now I am finally getting to the applique border. So two sides prepped, two to go.....isn't it adorable??
of course the picture had to be taken on the floor cause you know what is on the wall....
This is an Alex Anderson pattern, so easy to piece and easy to applique, once you prep about 100 lights, of course I couldn't get the song "the 12 Pains of Christmas" out of my head (if you don't know this one, you- tube it near the holidays)
Hope you had a happy holiday....whatever holiday you were celebrating....I'm so confused....
Hugs and Stitches!
Megan

Megan,
Can you give me details of the pattern please. I love this top.

Oh, that is a very adorable quilt. I'm not really a fan of holiday quilt (I don't know why), but I can see myself making this one. Nice job!

Would love to see how your are planning to quilt this adorable quilt. I have a pine tree quilt that is pieced but I am at a loss about quilting.

It's wonderful! I may just have to add that pattern to my collection. You are doing a great job on it. I bounce from UFO to UFO also. Short attention span.

What a great winter quilt! I love the subtle red/green sawtooth border and the whimsical applique. After all that work, you'd better keep it out all season.

I am working on this quilt. I would like to make two as Christmas gifts...two daughters. It is always fun to see someone working on the same pattern. I purchased the pattern at the Feb. Hampton, VA show.
