Thankfully, my week started to improve towards the end last week....the turning point? Well, see, I stop at the same place for coffee each morning. We have our routine, I don't even have to tell them what I want they just make it....milk, one sweet and low. And the lady behind the counter always calls me mrs. (as opposed to the guy at the bagel place who calls everyone Chief---male or female).
So Thursday, I pay, I take my coffee and I'm leaving and the lady behind the counter comes out from behind the counter and calls to me...."mrs, mrs". So I think I've given the wrong money or something. She comes real close and whispers to me "your shirt is buttoned wrong". I'm one off on the buttons. what am I a two year old, I can't even button my shirt correctly?
But isn't it a nice thing that she took the time to tell me? From there the week looked a little brighter, or maybe I just changed how I looked at it.
With a new outlook on life, I spent a little time on the black and white monster. It's been a long time since I worked on a really large quilt. This one will be bigger than my design wall. I guess from there we go to the design floor....
The blocks are all done so I bet a few nights this week and this will be done! Now if I can just get the people in this house to feed themselves I'll be set.
Have a wonderful week....and beware of shirts with buttons!
Hugs and Stitches!
