The To-do List Shift-ith

Apparently even Mother Nature has her breaking point and the morning light showed us this
Treedown
the good news is it's not blocking the street and the side towards the house did not fall.  The bad news is the side towards the house is really leaning.

the DH leaves before the crack of dawn (4:45) so he did not even notice this mess in the dark.  So rather than work on fun quilty things, it looks like Son#1 and I will be the chainsaw brigade til DH gets home....so much for the to-do list.

But I did spend a wonderful Saturday at Cozy Quilts with a packed house for the Mandelesque class.  Denise is the shop owner and the hostess with the mostess, there's always food fun and inspiration in her shop.

and came home to a house of 10 and 11 year olds for a celebratory sleep-over.  Please! someone hit me over the head next time I entertain the idea of a sleep over with more than one friend.

But at least I found my way back to my old Civil War friends this weekend...

great blocks ...your going to have the lollypop quilt done before I get a row done!
Wow sorry about the tree, well think less leaf raking this fall...

Very sad about the big tree...and sorrier that it caused you to work so hard. All the new blocks look wonderful!

So sad about the tree.
I need to get back to my Civil war blocks too.

I love your preproductions. Where do you get them? You always have such pretty taste in fabrics and color choices.
