Oh No.....

I'm in trouble....I'm supposed to be working on magazine quilts, but I took a quick detour cause I'm like a 2 year old with a new toy and my new templates came last week in the mail, and they were just sitting there and, and, and.....

Littledresden
note:  it's a 6" finished block....so it's little and adorable, but that info is completely lost on the other members of this household.

oh, no.....I feel a new quilt coming on....

Hugs and Stitches!

Megan

p.s.  if you have not done a quilt using acrylic templates of some sort....take the leap, try it, you'll be glad you did!  here's a good place to look for all sorts of fun templates

Oh boy, this one will be a cute one.

OMG Megan, it is gorgeous!!! I love your choice of fabrics!!!!!

So cute and cheery! Those polka dots in the background look massive in comparison (since, ahem, I have a tiny bit of frosted dots in the stash, I know they're actually wee). I've used the larger Marti Michell Dresden templates quite a bit but recently got the small set too. I'm afraid I'll cut my finger off! :-) We outside your household understand and appreciate your adorable block!

Oh my goodness, Megan - it's adorable! I've played with templates just a bit - can you tell me what you like and don't like about working with templates. I'm anxious to do something with a template or two but I'm a bit stymied. :-)

...and you just had to try just one to see how easy or hard it was, and it will just take only a little bit of time. Yea, know the drill well and all the thoughts that I tell myself every time I start doing something"just to see what it's like"!

Good deal!

It's absolutely wonderful! I love the colors and the stitching is perfect. I never thought I'd like acrylic templates but you've convinced me. Blessings, marlene

Wow Megan! I'm speechless!

It's adorable! Glad you can share it with us - we do care :)

How cute!! Love making those.

Oooooo..that IS cute. I'm sure I have some of those templates around here, time to start digging!

What an adorable little block. I agree you should just keep on going!!

Oh I never saw that order coming :)
Of course I got the kites and a thimble template for all those teeny tiny extra scraps....

I like it. You picked the greatest fabrics. Truly, I've never seen that design look so pretty. Do your magazine quilts so you don't get into trouble :) but you have to come back to this and finish. I must see the finished quilt. I must!
