Trees and Me
I've started a new class sample for the LQS and shock of shocks, it's trees. I mean really, it's been nearly 3 months since I worked on a project with trees....but isn't this one too adorable to pass up?
and here's my start....
they are super easy and a great way to use scraps.
You know what's not easy? I have to stop working on trees to help Twin#2 make a sock puppet of John Hancock. Are you kidding me? a sock puppet of John Hancock? Who thinks a 4th grader will actually make this as opposed to Mom? I mean I love the teachers at our school, but really.....rant complete.
Hugs and Stitches!
Megan

That is a darling pattern, I've thought about making it myself. I can't wait to see what you do with it.

Love the tree pattern. You have a good start. However, once it is known that you 'sew' the children will always receive such assignments because the know Mom will do it!

Megan, wow you have been one busy girlie! I can see what you mean about the tree quilt. It is simply adorable, and looks like it can be very versatile too. By changing the border a bit, it could be perfect for every season.
Your Baby Jane blocks are lovely. Your fabric and color choices are so unique and individual. I can't wait to see how it progresses. If only I could find the energy and get myself to do a 1/4 of what you do! I really love checking in on all your creating. Thank you so much for sharing! Love Stacy

I love that pattern. I took the class with Alex Anderson -- she is the best! I have made about half of the blocks, but I still have not finished my quilt, but maybe you have inspired me to get'er'done.

Loved seeing the trees last night. It looks addictive..but then isn't fabric collecting and sewing an obsession for most of us..Quilters. It's going to be another WOW!. You are my inspiration.
