Lorre Sighting.....

What a wonderful treat, our wayward friend Lorre is in town ( way too briefly!!!!!) so we spent a little giggle/inspiration/show n tell time together yesterday.

Apparently, Little Miss Sneak Ahead has been in cahoots with Mrs McSneaky and has been helping to conceal that work on the Lollypop Quilt was actually in progress, even though she denied it.  So blocks were revealed, and they are beautious!  It's funny that we all started with the same pile of fabric and each of the blocks are so different.....here's my 4 finished blocks----about a million more pieces to applique to finish the quilt.

And dear Patty made me a center for my yet-to-be-started medallion quilt....these are soooo "my colors"
Centermed
thanks Patty!!!!

I'm feeling a little shopping coming on for this project.....I'll just sit for a bit, maybe it will pass....besides I have some DJ and CWD catching up to do.  oooo, now might be a good time to employ the "cut for multiple projects" technique.

Hugs and Stitches!

Megan

I am just in love with those lollipop blocks every time you post about them. Gee, maybe I should take up applique?? Beautiful blocks and love the feathered star too...what a wonderful surprise!

ooooh yes! me too! I love the colours and prints in your medallion star - especially the sampler fabric and the dear little blue corners. Yum!

I love love love the feathered start that your friend made for you. What a wonderful friend! Love the colors and fabrics.

Well I may be Little Miss SneakAhead and Kathie may be MrsMcSneaky but may I point out that YOU are the one with four blocks completed - shall we name you Miss OverAchiever? (I say that in the kindest way) LOL Oh Yes and I think Lorre has dubbed herself Little Miss Feeling Overwhelmed - but watch next time she comes to town she'll have 6 blocks made.

Well how could I not make this quilt after seeing all of Patty and your blocks???? that was really hard keeping it a secret, but worth it to see Lorre so surprised! Your blocks look wonderful...
Can't wait to see Barbies 1st block, make sure you post pictures ...sure hope she makes 16 of them too

Lollipops are showing up all over, I think you started something, I am still resisting, but not for much longer. Too fun.

i happened upon your blog thru happy zombie's... i LOVE these lollipop blocks!!! is this a pattern? or are you insane and made these up on your own.
i have to say, i'm quite impressed by the amount of blocks you're able to do in a short period of time. it's truly amazing!!!!!
