Lollipop Envy
We are heading to the beach for a few days and I needed a little handwork to do. I just loved Patty's (aka Little Miss Sneak Ahead) red and more red on Block #4 of the Lollipop Quilt, so I had to make one of my own...yikes, it's bright!!!
there may be a little re-arranging of the block once they are all done, but for now, I'm winging it color-wise and hoping for the best.
And I have gotten 2 calls in the last 2 days of people who are catching the CWDQ fever. These projects are absolutely contagious!! Join in, or find some friends and start your own project, it's a little like Weight Watchers for quilters---support, friendship, very few calories and if you stick with it, you'll be really happy with the results.
Hugs and Stitches!
Megan

So warm and wonderful! I think this is my favourite colour combination you've done yet! Have a lovely time at the beach!

I have been watching this quilt (and your DJ) evolve - it's just lovely. Is the pattern available?

These lollipops blocks are so lovely. Kaffe Fasset told about this quilt when he was visiting our annual quilt meeting, he was so thrilled about this pattern. Have not bought the pattern yet.........but...LOL

Oh I do love these blocks so much! You use the perfect circles for the circles right? And just starch around all the other pieces for prep? I'm finding this method to be really fast and simple, even though I still love the traditional applique too. Sometimes fast is a good thing too!
