Don't you love a challenge?
My challenge (as a favor at the LQS)was to do a fast and easy quilt that could be kitted with just fat quarters and just one of each of 10 fabrics to show off (translation: sell) a new line of fabrics on the shelf.
So I let it sit for a day and then made quick work of putting in together (deadline being Wednesday to have quilt done and pattern written) and gee I'm happy with the results....
don't you just love this Prairie Paisley line??
I still have 2-1/2" strips of most of the fabrics left, so I'm going to finish it off with extra wide scrappy binding.....and on time??? no one is more surprised than me!
Hugs and stitches!
Megan

wow, I love this!
great use of this fabric line.
I am shocked that the top is done 3 days in advance...
are we starting a new trend in your life????
hope so!

It looks lovely Megan - so rich! I'm currently making a quilt in this fabric - I bought 1/2 yard pieces of several of the blues and 2 yards each of the red solid paisley, cream paisley, and cream and red stripe - I'm sewing it up using the goose and gosling block, and a 9 patch. It's such cheery, happy fabric - and keeps the Little House stories running about my head. :-)

So the quilt top is done...marvelous by the way. But are the instructions written? No pressure here. It just is so nice to get something done without time pressures. You have done well.
