Mad Dash

I'm frantically working to get class samples done this week.  I think the sample can really sell the class, so it's got to be appealing and it's got to be done!  So here's the new sample for my Start 2 Finish class.

St2fin
Over 3 classes, they will cut, sew, quilt, and finish this little quilt, and of course, there will be homework, but it's a great next step for someone who has been doing tops and sending them out to be quilted.  But you never know if a class will go.....so we'll see.

And what a pretty little package I got from the lovely Ms. Jolly at FQS....
30sfab
I'm not normally a 30's person, but I've got a special project that these are going into.  I don't know.....this collection might be pushing me towards more 30's projects.   No I can't, not another type of fabric to collect!! someone stop me!!

especially because tomorrow I head out to Lancaster to visit with Susan from The Quilt Branch and we might be going to a quilt shop or two!

Hope you have a productive and fun day...

Hugs and Stitches!

Megan

Your sample certainly should sell your class...it is very inviting. I love your 30's fabrics...what line are they? I don't collect 30's usually, but I'm working on a baby quilt that could use some more of those colors. Have fun in Lancaster.

Have fun in Lancaster!

the quilt looks wonderful
is the pattern available for sale yet????
be on the look out for cheddars tomorrow :)
Kathie who wishes she was going to Lancaster tomorrow too!

Your sample quilt is very appealing and pretty, too. *S* I really like the colors and the prairie points add interest. The 30s fabrics look great. Every time I say I won't buy or collect a certain line or type of fabric, it's a sign I will be buying soon.

"She" talked me into 30's and repros. I used to be a bright kind of person, but I have broadened my horizons. Are you going to join me?

Megan, Each of your posts is a delight to read. I'd join your class in a second if I could. Knowing how to make that little quilt would solve baby gift problems for years to come. I have just started my Dear Jane in 30's fabrics. I got the Aunt Grace line but as I start using those up I may have find those beautiful squares you have as well. In fact I think it will be absolutely necessary! Ha Ha. I love seeing all your projects and cant wait to see your Dear Jane progress as well. Love, Stacy

Love the prairie points, and have fun in Lancaster.

Hi, I'm Sally's daughter in law and happened upon your blog! I also post the class listings on her website. Would it be alright for me to include this picture with your class description?

Megan, that class quilt is so nice, especially love the prairie points

and tomorrow I'm off, tempted to come with you to Lancaster, ................
but maybe I'm a little far away from you, what a pity

Megan

who is addicted and is still looking for Fabricology anonymous!

Excellent class sample. Lovely 30's fabrics a definite favorite of mine!! Can't wait to see what you have in store for them.

Sew fun! The quilt class looks terrific and the 30's fabric...um...I could see getting into that! Have a great time!

The 30's fabrics from Jolly are beautiful. What is the brand? I am a 30's collector and am always on the look out for something new. Thanks!
