Dear Jane catch-up
Well, I'm off this morning to PA, armed with credit cards, a few sketches of future quilts and of course, the snack basket. But before I go, I wanted to show two DJ blocks I finished yesterday...

It's nice to be doing a brights project at the same time as the Civil War blocks, throw in the 30's and I've got a whole lot of era's going on.....hope I don't mix them up.....I'd hate to see neon pink next to Abe Lincoln!
Hugs and Stitches!
Megan

And what would be wrong with pink next to Abe? :-) There are some repros that are practically neon. Look at that Gerald Roy line. The one you used in your hearts DJ block.

I dunno, pink and a president should be OK! your own 'vision'..
Looking good Megan!!

I'm breathless! Your fabrics are lovely! And Abe can stand to get into the 21st century a little bit.

Megan, your blocks look great. I really like how you are using color instead of a specific background fabric. It is going to be beautiful. This project allows for so much color use and creativity, it is great. Have a nice trip to PA.

I agree, I think Abe could use some bright colors...might cheer him up a bit.
Your blocks came out great. I especially like the Jane's Tears block with the red on the yellow.
Really pretty!

Keep that credit card under control. I wish I could go along. Mine has mold growing on it right now. It must be time for a visit! I love your blocks. This DJ will be fantastic.
