It's Blue Baby!
I got a little sidetracked this week getting the baby quilt done, but it's finally all quilted and prairie-pointed.
I'm thinking (never a good sign) this might be a good quilt for a "start to finish" class. Sometimes I sense that quilting students get frustrated by the "tops only " classes, especially those just getting started, so this little gem could take them from cutting through to finishing in just a few classes.
What do you think???
Guess it means I'm going to have to re-make this, as this one will wing it's way to our newest tenant in our rental house. Hope he likes this little welcome to the world gift.
Hugs and Stitches!
Megan

Such a lovely quilt, hmm prairie points. I've just been looking at a pattern I have that has prairie points and I can't get my head around how it's done.....

Linda---a great source of info on how to do this is "The Quilters Ultimate Visual Guide" from Rodale Books. A great one to add to your library if you don't already have it.
Good Luck!

I just love all the different blues. Makes it quite stunning! The prairie points really puts a 'finish' to the quilt. Love it.

Hi Megan, I have been teaching a Start to Finish class for about 6 years now - and I can tell you it's a great idea. It has turned most of my beginning students into life long quilters. They learn the complete process, finish their quilt in class and are ready to move on when the class is over.
