No mincing words!
Don't you just love Marsha McCloskey? Here's a woman you obviously can trust to tell it to you straight---no mincing words for her:
It's a rainy, icky day out so I'm going to work on my piecing skills and this seems like a good project to do it on. No particular quilt in mind...who knows what will happen after one "really hard block".
So wish me luck....I'm going in!
Hugs and Stitches!

LOL! Best wishes - when should we send out a search party?

Marsha McCloskey's books are terrific. Jean Biddick taught me Marsha's techniques and they are still my favorite.
The pressure is on now! When do we get to see the star??????

I LOVE that sub-title!!! THAT is the BEST ever. It's right up there with "hurts more then a bee sting".

OK - I'm reading backwards and I've seen no mention of a feathered star project. So what happened? I, too, love Marsha - I think I have most of her books. I've made many feathered stars of many sizes using her directions. She makes them so very easy - as long as one isn't frightened by half-square triangle squares!

I love piecing feathered stars - and Marsha makes it really easy! I have this book as well as her two earlier ones. The first one used only templates - rotary cutters and rulers hadn't exploded on the scene as yet! Then the second one came out as a redo of the first - this time with rotary cutting directions. As far as I'm concerned, Marsha is the queen of feathered stars - the best person to learn from!
